OPPORTUNITIES normally go to the well-prepared. 

In today's world, "well-prepared" no longer simply means having finished a college course and having obtained a collegiate degree. 

It simply means now being proficient in the English language, notwithstanding one's educational attainment, for English has remained the international medium of instruction and communications. 

Speak English, and doors of gainful employment, rewarding social life, and responsible yet rewarding positions of responsibility are thrown wide open. 

It has therefore become an imperative task for all of us to become English proficient, in one way or another, to gain more access to better opportunities worldwide.

This is the reason why a group of lawyers, academicians and spiritual directors decided to band together to offer all Filipinos, particularly those who are overseas right now, a two year course that will enable them to attain proficiency in written and spoken English.

This group formed the OPEN FIRE DISTANCE LEARNING, which actually means Open Philippine Education Network, Foundation for Internationally Relevant Education Inc.

The course will center on English comprehension and understanding, English composition, and English writing.

At the end of the two year program, it is the objective of OPEN FIRE DISTANCE LEARNING to empower anyone who underwent its English proficiency course with the use of the English language.

We are therefore inviting all overseas Filipinos, particularly those who have been unable to complete or finish their college courses, to try our English proficiency course and see the difference.
